Executive Chef

We are looking for an Executive Chef for a 5* branded hotel in Dubai.

Duties:

  • Reporting to Hotel Manager
  • Leading a large team of kitchen & BOH staff
  • Managing the full operation 2 F&B outlets & roomservice within the Hotel, ensuring quality and standards are met and maintained at all times
  • Part of the hotel’s Leadership Team and actively participate in their monthly meetings
  • Conducting regular team meetings/ briefings with the Outlet Managers & Kitchen
  • Menu development & engineering
  • Responsible for setting all financial and performance targets and objectives for all Food & Beverage
  • Responsible and accountable for managing all Food & Beverage Divisions (food & beverage outlets,  room service and the kitchen) budgets and P&L
  • Responsible for the performance and results of all Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Responsible for making sure that all Food & Beverage purchasing procedures are adhered to, and responsible for monthly stock take
  • Responsible for all recruitment and training activities pertaining to the F&B Department
  • Create and manage an environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Mediterranean cuisine experience
  • Executive (sous) Chef experience in a luxury hotel
  • UAE experience
  • Western nationality
